Un cambio hacia una educación más adaptada a los estudiantes actuales, que conecte con sus intereses y preocupaciones, y que sea realmente útil y significativa para su desarrollo personal y su vida y acciones fuera de la escuela. Por tanto, el presente trabajo de investigación tiene como principal objetivo estudiar y conocer cómo funcionan los centros educativos denominados “escuelas changemaker”. Unas escuelas innovadoras que apuestan por la transformación social, convirtiendo a sus estudiantes en agentes de cambio para mejorar el mundo y la sociedad en la que viven a la vez que aprenden distintos contenidos y competencias básicas. A lo largo de este trabajo, se darán a conocer las distintas estrategias metodológicas activas que emplean este tipo de centros, como son el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP) y el Aprendizaje Servicio (AS); el tipo y finalidad de los proyectos que llevan a cabo; y la evaluación formativa que utilizan para no caer en una mera evaluación numérica y tradicional.The need for a change in the educational system is increasingly noticeable. A change is needed towards an education that is more adapted to current students, that connects with their interests and concerns, and that is useful and significant for their personal development and their life and performance outside of school. Therefore, the main aim of this research work is to study and understand how educational centers called “changemaker schools” work. These innovative schools are committed to social transformation, turning their students into agents of change 3 to improve the world and the society in which they live while learning different contents and basic skills.
