Universidad de Sevilla, Sevilla.https://hdl.handle.net/11441/170982As an essential first step towards the study of the π−1 hybrid meson, an analysis of the b−1 resonance photoproduction and decay is performed in this work. This thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first chapter, a Monte Carlo simulator is designed to generate events of a proton-pion elastic scattering. Using the simulated data and serving as an initial approach towards the b−1 → ωπ− decay study, a partial-wave analysis of the final state of the system is conducted, first for scalar particles and later introducing spin as a variable. The energy-dependent partial-wave amplitudes, each accompanied by a group of ambiguities, are analytically derived from observable magnitudes using the moment’s Barrelet Zeros. In the second chapter, the theoretical formalism of the γ+ p → b−1 + Δ++ photoproduction is explored. Two mechanisms for the SDMEs extraction are presented and the importance of the reference frame of study is emphasized.77 p.engStudy of Barrelet Zeros and Analysis of the B−1 Resonance Photoproductioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
