Los temas que abordamos son: Las claves políticas del periodo; el contexto geográfico; las evidencias de la ciudad del siglo XI y la cerámica.This article addresses an approach and a state of the art about the Seville city’s 11th century archaeological evidences, with a special mention of ceramics. At this time, Seville was a metropolis dominating most of the Southern Iberian Peninsula. Nevertheless it is missing a global study of this period.
