Aunque tradicionalmente se ha destacado su identificación con convencionalismos coetáneos, el estudio detallado de cabeceras de la época revela la importancia del posicionamiento rupturista, posibilitando la relectura del papel autorial femenino a partir del grupo liderado por la sevillana Amalia Domingo Soler y que pudo imbuirse de la reinterpretación espiritista, tras la recepción en la prensa española, de la obra de contemporáneas inglesas como Felicia Hemans, la más leída en el mundo angloparlante de su tiempo y a su vez influida por la heterodoxia del también sevillano Blanco White, ante las sinergias generadas por el éxodo liberal español al Londres de inicios del XIX.From a moderate liberal concept of religiosity of nature to the radicalism of a spiritism intertwined with utopian socialism that broke with the Catholic orthodoxy, the female authorial collaboration in the nineteenth-century Sevillian press defended religious tolerance against its constricted society.
