Physical Review B-Condensed Matter, 43 (1), 585-590.0163-1829http://hdl.handle.net/11441/58278A kinetic one-dimensional bonded fluid model is formulated by extending a model for water due to Bell. The behavior of the system under continuous cooling is analyzed by use of a Monte Carlo simulation method. It shows a phenomenon similar to the laboratory glass transition. The dependences of the glass transition temperatures and of the residual energy on the cooling rate are discussed.application/pdfengAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Continuous cooling of a one-dimensional bonded fluid: A Monte Carlo simulation studyinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess10.1103/PhysRevB.43.585
