There have been multiple attempts to find a partial or global technological solution to this problem, ranging from using di erent types of sensors or cams for automatically detecting free spaces to collaborative apps that let users share related information. In this paper, we give an overview of the methods that have been developed so far, showing their main features, di erences, pros, and cons, as well as other factors that may contribute to the success or failure of new proposals that will come in the future.application/pdf13engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 InternacionalAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Smart cityParkingCrowdsensingComputer visionExisting approaches to smart parking: An overviewinfo:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObjectinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess10.1007/978-3-319-59513-9_7
