Universidad de Sevilla, Sevilla.https://hdl.handle.net/11441/90590En este trabajo se explicarán los hechos históricos que acontecieron en Corea durante el siglo XX, centrándose en la ocupación de la península por parte del Imperio japonés y la consecuente guerra civil coreana que resultó en una división en dos Estados que continúa hasta nuestros días. Después se procederá a analizar tres películas (Ángeles sin hogar (1941) Estrellas sin nombre (1959) y Dongju: Retrato de un Poeta (2016)) que narran y representan los sucesos que tuvieron lugar durante estos años de ocupación a pesar de la separación cronológica entre estas producciones. La finalidad es estudiar un tema reciente y presente en la actualidad que no se estudia con suficientemente profundidad en occidente, sin embargo, debería tenerse más en cuenta ya que como veremos estos países se han convertido en potencias mundiales con las que existen relaciones internacionales económicas, sociales y culturales.This project aims to explain the historical facts that took place in Korea during the 20th Century, focusing on the occupation by Imperial Japan and the consequential Korean civil war that lead to the current division in two separate States. Then, there will be an analysis on three films (Angels on the streets (1941), Nameless stars (1959) and Dongju: The portrait of a poet (2016)) that talk about these years of occupation regardless of the separation in time between the productions of these movies.
