Tras la caída de la dictadura, los nuevos gobiernos impulsaron la publicación de 25 de Abril, una revista dirigida a los inmigrantes con el objetivo de informarles sobre la situación política, social y económica del país. Este artículo estudia la primera etapa de esta revista entre 1974 y 1976 a través de un análisis de sus contenidos y pretender ser una contribución a las investigaciones sobre el papel de los medios de comunicación durante la revolución portuguesa.At the time of the Carnation Revolution, there were more than one and a half million Portuguese nationals residing abroad. Following the fall of the dictatorship, the new governments initiated the publication of the magazine 25 de Abril, which was designed to disseminate information to immigrants about the political, social and economic situation in the country. This article examines the inaugural phase of this magazine, spanning the period between 1974 and 1976, through an analysis of its contents.
