Laura Restrepo rompe con algunas convicciones en cuanto a la manera de escribir para dar voz a unos personajes que intentan vivir en un país en el que la violencia y el terror viene siendo la costumbre del día a día. La escritora se toma ciertas licencias narrativas en Delirio para enfatizar lo difícil que supone representar a la sociedad que convive con este tipo de conflictos. Narradores homodiegéticos, heterodiegético, grupos guerrilleros, diálogos inadvertidos, paramilitarismo, signos de puntuación que no siguen la norma, narcotraficantes, suicidios, locura. Un cóctel perfecto que al agitarlo se transforma en la ficción de la realidad colombiana de finales del siglo pasado.In this paper we have addressed how a discourse is constructed when trying to reflect through it a phenomenon as complex as drug trafficking. Laura Restrepo breaks with some convictions regarding the way of writing to give voice to characters who try to live in a country where violence and terror have been the daily custom. The writer takes certain narrative licenses in Delirium to emphasize how difficult it is to represent the society that lives with this type of conflict. Homodiegetic narrators, heterodiegetic, guerrilla groups, inadvertent dialogues, paramilitarism, punctuation marks that do not follow the norm, drug traffickers, suicides, madness.
