La digitalización y el empleo de nuevas herramientas tecnológicas contribuyen a su resignificación, su dinamización y su salvaguarda. Desde esta perspectiva, el proyecto de investigación CREAfab: Metodologías para una Reindustrialización Creativa de los Centros Históricos plantea entre sus resultados el diseño de una herramienta digital e interactiva denominada CREAfab App. Esta herramienta, cuyo desarrollo está en curso, combina el uso de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) con el diseño gráfico, la fotografía y otros medios visuales para ofrecer una visión pionera de los centros históricos en el contexto andaluz. En esta comunicación, se presenta el enfoque metodológico empleado para el diseño de la herramienta, profundizando en su funcionamiento y contenidos. Asimismo, se muestran las capacidades de la herramienta para comunicar e investigar el panorama de las IICC en relación al patrimonio industrial en el marco del proyecto de investigación CREAfab.Communication around architectural heritage research transcends the purpose of informing and becomes, undeniably, a creative act itself. Digitalisation and the use of new technological tools contribute to its re-definition, its revitalisation, and its safeguarding. From this perspective, the research project CREAfab: Methodologies for a Creative Reindustrialisation of Historic Centres proposes among its results the design of a digital and interactive tool called CREAfab App. This tool, which is currently under development, combines the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with graphic design, photography, and other visual media to offer a pioneering vision of historic centres in the Andalusian context. In this communication, the methodological approach used for the design of the tool is presented, going in depth into its functionality and contents.
