Dataset from Statistical analysis of solid lipid nanoparticles produced by high-pressure homogenization: a practical prediction approach. The dataset contains the experimental measurements obtained using an array of predetermined formulation parameters that led to regression models and predictive equations linking process parameters (e.g., lipid concentration, emulsifier ratio, and homogenization cycles) to nanoparticle properties. Data on drug release profiles from SLN of different particle size are also included.A single Excel file with each sheet containing: -Experimental particle size: Particle size values obtained experimentally with predetermined values of lipid and surfactant concentrations, applied pressure and consecutive cycles of homogenization. -Figure 5: Data corresponding to manuscript Figure 5 showing particle size as a function of number of cycles for a formulation with 0.5 % (w/v) of Monostearin and 0.25 % (w/v) -Figure 6: Data corresponding to manuscript Figure 6 showing the logarithm of mean LNP size from one to eight cycles of homogenization at 800 bar of pressure for each lipid to emulsifier ratio (RL/S) employed -Figure 7: Data corresponding to manuscript Figure 7 showing mean particle size of LNP produced at 1,500 bar of homogenization pressure and 0.25 % (w/v) of emulsifier as a function of lipid concentration, for different number of applied passes -Figure 8: Data corresponding to manuscript Figure 8 showing Tocopherol release from LNP with 10 % of tocopherol LC as a function of particle sizeapplication/vnd.ms-excelengAttribution 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Solid lipid nanoparticlesHigh-pressure homogenizationStatistical analysisRegression modelParticle size predictionMathematical modelDrug releaseDataset from Statistical analysis of solid lipid nanoparticles produced by high-pressure homogenization: a practical prediction approach.
