La educación intercultural emerge como una herramienta esencial para promover la integración social de los inmigrantes, junto con un nuevo modelo económico centrado en el bienestar colectivo. Fortalecer la democracia en la gestión de los flujos migratorios y garantizar el acceso de los inmigrantes a sus derechos son pasos cruciales. La enseñanza del castellano juega un papel fundamental en este proceso. Metodología: Implicación de evaluaciones dirigidas a adultos inmigrantes para identificar perfiles de alfabetización múltiple. En concreto, nuestro estudio se ha realizado durante el segundo cuatrimestre del curso 2023-24 en una asociación de Sevilla a un grupo de seis sujetos. Este enfoque se presenta como una herramienta integral para recopilar información valiosa destinada a un proyecto de investigación educativa en colaboración con la Universidad de Huelva. Estas pruebas no solo permitirán evaluar el nivel de dominio del idioma español por parte de los inmigrantes, sino también obtener datos significativos sobre sus perfiles. Resultados y discusión: De la mano de un análisis cualitativo, la presentación de discrepancias significativas entre las barreras y oportunidades experimentadas por cada individuo, influenciadas por el dominio del idioma y las habilidades adquiridas. Conclusiones: Fortalecimiento de la adquisición del idioma español para la integración y el acceso al empleo. Abordar el racismo y la exclusión social, promover la interculturalidad y garantizar una comunicación efectiva son elementos clave para fomentar la cohesión social. Es necesario avanzar en la implementación de políticas que promuevan estos valores y garanticen oportunidades equitativas para todos los miembros de la sociedad.The phenomenon of migration presents complex challenges that require comprehensive approaches. Intercultural education emerges as an essential tool to promote the social integration of immigrants, together with a new economic model focused on collective well-being. Strengthening democracy in the management of migratory flows and guaranteeing immigrants' access to their rights are crucial steps. The teaching of Spanish plays a fundamental role in this process. Methodology: Involvement of assessments targeting immigrant adults to identify multiple literacy profiles. Specifically, our study was conducted during the second quarter of the 2023-24 academic year in an association in Seville to a group of six subjects. This approach is presented as a comprehensive tool to collect valuable information for an educational research project in collaboration with the University of Huelva. These tests will not only allow us to evaluate the level of Spanish language proficiency of immigrants, but also to obtain significant data on their profiles. Results and discussion: Hand in hand with a qualitative analysis, the presentation of significant discrepancies between the barriers and opportunities experienced by each individual, influenced by language proficiency and acquired skills. Conclusions: Strengthening Spanish language acquisition for integration and access to employment. Addressing racism and social exclusion, promoting interculturality and ensuring effective communication are key elements in fostering social cohesion.
