Se presentan sus caractertísticas cognitivas y sociales. Seguidamente, nos centramos en el estudio de lo que supone atender y concentrarse para finalmente estudiar las estrategias metacognitivas que nos ayudarían a paliar las deficiencias de atención y concentración en el alummnado con especial énfasis en el alumnado de Secundaria. Para terminar se proponen futuras intervenciones que incentiven las estrategias cognitivas, especialmente en primera y segunda lengua.This work presents the main problems of adolescent students to determine the factors that affect their lack of attention and concentration. Their cognitive and social characteristics are analyzed. Next, we focus on the study of attention and concetration mean, and then, we finally study metacognitive strategies that would help alleviate the shortcomings of students´ attention and concentration with special emphasis on those in Secondary school.
