El número de jóvenes chinos integrados en la sociedad española está constantemente en aumento. Esta investigación se centra en el estudio de la identidad cultural de la segunda generación de la comunidad china residente en España, específicamente aquellos que inmigraron en su infancia para la reunificación familiar o los que nacieron y crecieron aquí desde pequeños. Para ello, se examinan datos históricos y actuales sobre la evolución de la inmigración china en España, y se entrevistan a 36 jóvenes chinos de la segunda generación, sintetizando las experiencias de cada uno. Los resultados muestran que su identidad cultural es diversa: algunos se identifican completamente con la cultura china, otros tienen una identidad mixta, algunos se consideran neutrales y otros sienten que no pertenecen ni a España ni a China. Debido a este fenómeno, se analizan los distintos factores y causas que influyen en la formación de estas identidades. Se pretende acercar a los lectores a una comprensión más profunda de las complejidades de la identidad cultural entre los jóvenes de la segunda generación china en España, destacando la importancia de reconocer y respetar las diferencias individuales dentro de esta comunidad.The Chinese population in Spain is now one of the largest foreign communities in the country. The number of young Chinese individuals integrating into Spanish society is steadily increasing. This research focuses on the cultural identity of the second generation of the Chinese community in Spain, particularly those who immigrated during childhood for family reunification or were born and raised there. To achieve this, historical and current data on Chinese immigration to Spain are examined, and interviews with 36 young second-generation Chinese individuals are conducted, synthesizing their experiences. The results reveal a diverse range of cultural identities: some identify fully with Chinese culture, others have a mixed identity, some feel neutral, and others feel they do not belong to either Spain or China. The study analyzes the various factors and causes influencing the formation of these identities, aiming to provide readers with a deeper understanding of the complexities of cultural identity among second-generation Chinese youth in Spain.
