(Trabajo Fin de Grado Inédito). Universidad de Sevilla, Sevilla.https://hdl.handle.net/11441/175575Some learners may be anxious about learning a foreign language, but the frustration may be even greater when these students are tested on their oral skills. Therefore, this study aims at designing some classroom activities that can help learners to reduce their anxiety levels in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. In order to carry out the design of these instructional materials, a three-step methodology influenced by the well-known design model, ADDIE, has been followed. The exercises devised focus mainly on the practice of oral skills in a foreign language classroom since discourse competence is one of the most anxiety-provoking academic requirements for learners who are in the process of learning a non-native language. Through the use of these materials in the classroom, foreign language learners will not only practice their speaking skills in a more didactic way but will also be shown different tools to reduce tension and stress, making the task of learning a non-native language a fun and calm-enhancing process.application/pdf37 p.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/English as a Foreign Language (EFL)speaking activitiesoral skillsforeign language classroomOral Expression in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at the University: How to reduce anxiety levelsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
