El trabajo que aquí exponemos estudia el único manuscrito que se conserva de esta obra, el nº 351 o Vet. 58 de la Universitetsbibliotek de Uppsala (Suecia) y describe el contenido de la misma, una disertación médico-farmacológica, dividida en ochenta capítulos, cada uno de los cuales dedicado a una o varias enfermedades, recorriendo todos los órganos del cuerpo, empezando por la cabeza y terminando por los pies.The pharmacologist of al-Andalus, born in Malaga and died in Damascus, Ibn al-Bayṭār (576/1180 or 583/1187–646/1248) composed a dozen works among which we must highlight: The Kitāb Mīzān al-Ṭabīb.
