Finalmente, tratamos de evaluar en qué medida la interpretación propuesta por Javier Hernández-Pacheco es confirmada o no por nuestra propia interpretación del pensamiento social, político y religioso de Max Horkheimer.The present study seeks to analyze the thought of Max Horkheimer. The starting point is an analysis of Javier Hernández-Pacheco’s interpretation of Horkheimer’s philosophy. From there, we further examine what the German philosopher called “the desire for the completely Other”.
