Sin embargo, es relevante destacar su importancia, que está inseparablemente unida a la historia de la poesía y el arte dramático y que por tanto constituye en sí misma una esencial manifestación de la cultura china. El presente trabajo pretende hacer un recorrido por la historia de la música China, desde la dinastía Tang hasta la actualidad. Se presentarán las características de las distintas formas musicales y de los distintos géneros, así como una recopilación de algunos de los autores y géneros más importantes junto con los instrumentos utilizados y su evolución debido a que no es un tema muy trabajado en el ámbito de los estudios sinológicos, por la dificultad que entraña.The music of East Asia has been largely unknown in the field of higher music studies, so much so that only a few brief glimpses of it are given. However, it is relevant to highlight its importance, which is inseparably linked to the history of poetry and dramatic art and therefore constitutes in itself an essential manifestation of Chinese culture. The present work intends to review the history of Chinese music, from the Tang Dynasty to the present day.
