Últimos de la rama de Lorenzo fueron los herederos de Giordano, el cual, en primeras nupcias, se casó con Emilia Cesi, de quien tuvo a Ludovico y Valerio, el segundo matrimonio con Lucrezia dell’Anguillara, hija de Maddalena Strozzi, le dio Raimondo y Pulcheria. Resultó inevitable solucionar la coincidencia de pretensiones sobre los derechos sucesorios y encontrar acuerdos.
