Debido a la irrupción del Covid-19 a mediados de marzo de 2020, se ha presentado una crisis sin precedentes que impide continuar con el ejercicio normal del sector. Por ello, es importante conocer el alcance de la situación y valorar las oportunidades que se puedan extraer en este nuevo escenario. Por lo que en la presente investigación se ha realizado un análisis de la literatura existente, presentando los retos y oportunidades a los que se enfrenta el sector, para finalizar con la elaboración de una encuesta en la cual se describe y analiza el comportamiento turístico de la muestra tras la aparición del virus.The tourism sector in Spain is one of its main economic driving forces, being one of the most important contributors to the country´s GDP. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak along mid-March 2020, an unprecedented crisis has arisen that prevents the continuation of the normal exercise of this sector. Thereupon, it is of paramount importance to know the scope of the situation and asses the opportunities that can be extracted within this new scenario. Consequently, in this research, an analysis of the state-of-art of the existing literature has been performed, presenting the challenges and opportunities that the sector faces currently.
