Se centra en el crimen de Laura Luelmo, joven profesora asesinada en diciembre de 2018 en El campillo (Huelva), un caso que conmocionó a la sociedad española y evidenció la violencia estructural que sufren muchas mujeres en su día a día. Lejos de limitarse a los hechos concretos, este trabajo adopta una mirada crítica y multidisciplinar que analiza el marco social, judicial y mediático que rodeó el caso. La elección de este tema no responde únicamente al impacto emocional que produjo este crimen, sino a la necesidad urgente de reflexionar sobre los fallos institucionales, la respuesta colectiva y el tratamiento informativo que lo acompañó. Este trabajo, por tanto, no busca revivir el dolor, sino, aportar al necesario proceso de memoria colectiva, visibilizando qué mecanismos fallaron y qué puede hacerse para evitar que estos hechos se repitan. En este sentido, se abordan cuestiones clave como la educación en igualdad, la reinserción penitenciaria, la regulación del secreto de sumario, el papel de los medios de comunicación y la responsabilidad de las instituciones públicas. Desde un enfoque humano y comprometido, el objetivo de este TFG es contribuir a la construcción de una sociedad más justa, donde vivir sin miedo no sea un privilegio, sino un derecho. Porque toda persona tiene derecho a una vida libre de violencia. Y porque es desde el conocimiento, la conciencia crítica y la acción colectiva desde donde se pueden transformar realidades que hoy siguen costando vidas.This Final Degree Project focuses on the murder of Laura Luelmo, a young teacher who was killed in December 2018 in El Campillo (Huelva), a case that deeply shocked Spanish society and once again exposed the structural violence endured by many women. Rather than limiting the analysis to the specific facts, this work adopts a critical and multidisciplinary perspective to explore the social, legal, and media contexts surrounding the case. The selection of this topic does not arise solely from the emotional impact of the crime, but from the urgent need to reflect on institutional failures, collective responses, and the media coverage of such events. Laura Luelmo was not an isolated case. Her story reflects the reality of countless other women whose lives have been taken by gender-based violence, a problem that remains alarmingly present. This project aims not to dwell on the tragedy but to contribute to the collective memory, highlighting the systemic breakdowns and offering proposals for prevention and structural reform. It addresses key aspects such as education for equality, penal reintegration, the regulation of judicial secrecy, the role of the media, and institutional responsibility. From a human and socially committed standpoint, this research seeks to support the creation of a fairer society—one in which living without fear is not a privilege but a fundamental right. Because every person has the right to a life free of violence.
