Ambos interrogan la forma en que se estetiza lo documentable y disputan el régimen representativo de la Revolución. Por otro lado, se explora cómo estos cortos refuerzan la tesis de la desestabilización de los archivos ante las narrativas oficiales.The article explores the relationship between “archive” and “dissidence” in two Cuban short films: P.M (1961) by Orlando Jiménez Leal and Alberto “Sabá” Cabrera Infante and Gente en la playa (1960) by Néstor Almendros. Both question the way in which the documentable is aestheticized and dispute the representative regime of the Revolution.
