A través del género estrella de dicha vertiente, la crónica, se lleva a cabo un texto periodístico de especialización musical. Con el post-punk revival, aquel género que estalló a principios del siglo XXI, y el análisis de uno de los grupos más importantes de la escena neoyorquina, The Strokes, la autora interpreta y reflexiona, a través de sus vivencias en Sevilla y su ciudad de origen (San Fernando, Cádiz), y con testimonios de su entorno personal: el impacto de la propia banda en la música y en ella misma, dóndeha quedado el rock en 2024 y cómo la nostalgia e idealización pueden nublar la mente. Además, en la crónica se tocan temas como las aspiraciones de la alumna dentro del ámbito del periodismo musical y su desconexión con respecto a la Generación Z.This work is an exercise in narrative journalism, specifically immersion journalism, in which the knowledge acquired during the degree is put into practice. Through the star genre of this field, the chronicle, a journalistic text of musical specialization is produced.
