Calamus renascens: revista de humanismo y tradición clásica, 1, 229-246.1576-3471http://hdl.handle.net/11441/50389This paper analyses a fragment of Francisco Pacheco's "Sátira", which contains several allusions to the image at the top of the Giralda and their makers. Using corrections of the editio vulgata of the text as the basis, I intend to offer a more thorough and coherent reading of those allusions. The comparison between the monument and the Pandora legend will be used as analytical frame.
