The method takes into account the differences of densities and counting geometry between the real sample and the calibration sample. It is based on the y-transmission method and gives the correction factorf as a function of Ey, the density and counting geometry. Altough developed for soil samples, its underlying working philosophy is useful for any sample whose geometry can be adequately reproduced.application/pdf8 p.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Gamma-spectrometricHPGe detectorsA method for the determination of counting efficiencies in gamma-spectrometric measurements with HPGe detectorsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
