En mi trabajo no atiendo específicamente a éstos, sino a otro hecho paralelo, mas de sentido inverso. Me refiero al regreso de emigrantes indianos a la Península, tema éste que, si bien mucho menos explorado, constituye la clave para la interpretación histórico-lingüística de no pocos nombres de persona y de lugares de nuestro país.L'émigration d'espagnols au Nouveau Monde et ses conséquences linguistiques et non linguistiques sont des phénomènes déjà largement recherchés. Dans mon travail, par contre, j'étudie un fait parallèle mais en sens inverse: le retour des emigrants américains en Espagne, qui, ayant été beaucoup moins étudié, constitue la clef pour l'interprétation historique et linguistique de bien des noms de personne et de lieux de notre pays.The Spanish emigration to the New World and its linguistic as well as non linguistic consequences has been a phenomenon largely investigated.
