Para responder a esta pregunta articularemos fundamentalmente la KulturKritik de Theodor W. Adorno, el innovador trabajo de Agnès Gayraud y la brillante y perturbadora crítica a la ideología de Slavoj Zizek. La hipótesis inicial adquiere la forma de disyuntiva: en la Postmodernidad la industria musical de masas produce o bien “mercancías sintomáticas” o, por el contrario, “mercancías que se sitúan en los márgenes del sistema”, corrompiéndolo, subvirtiéndolo desde dentro. ¿Y si ambas opciones no definiesen la totalidad de lo real? ¿Y si las contradicciones de la Postmodernidad retorciesen la pregunta inicial, convirtiéndola, así, en una falsa disyuntiva? ¿Cuál sería, entonces, la tercera píldora? La categoría de la jouissance idéologique.Could the ideological fantasy of Postmodernism be identified in the context of mass music? To resolve this interrogation we articulate Theodor W. Adorno’s KulturKritik, Agnès Gayraud’s theory of aesthetics and Slavoj Zizek’s critique of ideology. The hypothesis takes the form of a dilemma: in postmodern era mass music industry produces either "symptomatic commodities " or “subversive commodities”. These should be located in “the margins of the system” and they subvert it. But, what if both options did not define the totality of real? What if the contradictions of Postmodernity pervert the dilemma? Is this a false quandary? Then, what would be the third pill?
