Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods and Applications, 74 (1), 27-34.0362-546Xhttp://hdl.handle.net/11441/49499We prove that geodesic Ptolemy spaces with a continuous midpoint map are strictly convex. Moreover, we show that geodesic Ptolemy spaces with a uniformly continuous midpoint map are reflexive and that in such a setting bounded sequences have unique asymptotic centers. These properties will then be applied to yield a series of fixed point results specific to CAT(0) spaces.application/pdfengAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Ptolemy inequalityGeodesic spaceFixed pointNonexpansive mappingGeodesic Ptolemy spaces and fixed pointsGeodesic Ptolemy spaces and fixed point theoryinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess10.1016/j.na.2010.08.009https://idus.us.es/xmlui/handle/11441/49499
