Seru Seisan es una tipología de sistema de producción en el que las tareas que se llevan a cabo para la obtención de un determinado producto son agrupadas en serus, término japonés que significa célula. Las labores realizadas en cada seru pueden ser tanto de fabricación como de montaje a partir de piezas ya fabricadas previamente y que son tomadas como material de partida en el seru. Lo habitual en los sistemas de producción Seru Seisan es que un seru únicamente sea empleado para obtener un tipo de producto. En el presente proyecto se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de estos sistemas de producción, enfocando el análisis realizado desde el punto de vista de la integración del concepto de sostenibilidad. Con ello, se pretende llevar a cabo la configuración de un sistema de producción Seru Seisan mediante diversos modelos con diferentes objetivos y requisitos, pero siempre manteniendo la intención de plasmar en todos ellos la importancia de desarrollar soluciones sostenibles para el medio ambiente. En primer lugar, se plantea el tiempo total de producción, con el consecuente gasto energético, como la variable que se desea minimizar. Tras ello, se propone disminuir lo máximo posible las emisiones de dióxido de carbono a la atmósfera. Por último, se introduce el concepto del coste total como objetivo a reducir, pero incorporando en la definición del modelo los requisitos referentes a las condiciones deseadas de sostenibilidad. Los resultados arrojados por la optimización de los modelos planteados en este proyecto responden a las cuestiones relativas a qué serus deben emplearse en la elaboración de cada tipo de producto, qué cantidad de la demanda a cumplir de dicho producto debe ser asociada a cada uno de los serus seleccionados y qué trabajadores deben ser asignados a realizar las tareas correspondientes a la fabricación de cada producto en cada seru. Finalmente se realiza un análisis de sensibilidad ante pequeñas variaciones de determinados parámetros que mostrarán cómo se comportan las soluciones en dichos casos y cuál es la situación resultante respecto a las emisiones que se produce. También se añade un estudio sobre las diferentes tipologías de costes y su relación con los niveles de emisión de CO2, tras lo cual se enumeran las conclusiones finales que se obtienen tras la realización de este trabajo. |
