This project intends to build the control and supervision of an Automation and System Engineering department’s plant consisting of a lift model and a programmable controller PLC M340, from Schneider Electronics. First, the plant’s PLC will be programmed by the software ‘Ecostruxure Control Expert’. This software allows to program in, among many others, three different programming languages, which have been widely studied during these years of the degree: LD, ST and SFC. After that, the connection between the PLC and the SCADA system will be made. To do that, a router will be plugged to the PLC processor’s Ethernet port, so that it can have an IP direction assigned. Once this is done, it will be possible to connect it to the OPC UA Server. The last step will be the configuration the program ‘Citect Studio 2018 R2’ as a server client. This client will be able to read system variables as well as publish them, so it will both receive and send information to the system. Finally, the SCADA system will be designed in the program already mentioned. This program will allow the user to visualise the plant state in real time, as well as the floors that have been called and manage the operating modes. Moreover, logs and reports are implemented, which means that two files will be created, the first one to monitor each button press, in txt format, and the second one to create a historical record of the floors where the lifts have been. This will be made every ten seconds, in rft format. Apart from that, documentation concerning the lift model connection to the PLC is included in this memory, as well as a detailed manual both for the PLC – SCADA connection and the SCADA design. |
