En esta tesis se plantea la hipótesis de que la proporción del ancho humano basada en 1/6 de la estatura, propuesta por el bachiller Diego de Sagredo en su tratado medidas del romano (1526), así como su prescripción de la distancia del ombligo a los riñones, fue descrita décadas antes por León Battista Alberti en su derecha edificatoria. Además se propone que aquella proporción del ancho poseía una doble raíz simbólica consistente en la asociación del cuerpo humano con la columna dórica y con el Arca de Noé. Del mismo modo, se plantea la hipótesis de que el concepto hombre-microcosmos es la clave que subyace y da sentido a esas raíces simbólicas. |
