Abstract: The dataset presented were reported in the study conducted by María Luisa de la Hoz Torres during a posdoctoral stay in University of Minho (Guimarães) funded by the Ministerio de Universidades of Spain under a Margarita Salas post-doctoral contract (MS2022-32) funded by the European Union-NextGenerationEU. Specifically, the dataset was used to propose Artificial Neural Network Based Model for Assessing the Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) of Vehicle Drivers. The proposed methodology can be effectively applied to several activities that expose vehicle drivers to WBV in the construction sector (such as earth moving, material transport or demolition tasks). For this purpose, a measurement campaign was conducted, the typical driving activities that exposed drivers to WBV and the magnitude of the transmitted acceleration were characterized and analyzed. The collected data were processed and integrated into a database. 3. Description of the methods used to collect and generate the data: The ISO 2631-1 and ISO 2631-5 recommendations were followed in this study. To achieve an error of less than 3 dB with 90% confidence, a minimum measurement duration of 108 seconds at a lower frequency limit of 1 Hz was selected. 2.
