Valoración de la información financiera a través de web de las compañías del IBEX-35

Abstract

La revolución tecnológica de los últimos años, que permite la utilización de Internet como vehículo de transmisión de información financiera por parte de las compañías, conlleva la necesidad de que tal emisión se regule para que los usuarios externos puedan acceder con la suficiente confianza a sus contenidos. AECA, en el año 2001 aprobó la constitución de una comisión de nuevas tecnologías y contabilidad que emitió, un año más tarde, una serie de recomendaciones al respecto. El regulador legal español también se ha encargado recientemente de este tema a través de la promulgación de la Ley de Transparencia y del desarrollo de la circular 1/2004 de la CNMV. En este trabajo investigamos si dichas recomendaciones y normativas legales se están teniendo en cuenta por las empresas del IBEX-35 en cuanto a la emisión de información financiera a través de sus páginas web.

The technological revolution of last years, which allows the Internet use as vehicle of transmission of financial information on part of the companies, entails the need of this revelation can be regulated so that the external users could accede with the sufficient confidence to this contents. AECA, in the year 2001 approved the Constitution of a commission of new technologies and accounting that expressed, one year later, a series of recommendations in this respect. The legal Spanish regulator also has taken charge recently of this topic across the promulgation of the law of transparency and development of the National Commission of the Spanish Stock Exchange (CNMV). In this paper we investigate whether the above mentioned recommendations and legal regulations are considering by the companies of IBEX 35 as for the emission of financial information across their Web pages.
