Contemporaneidad, turismo y patrimonio etnológico: realidad coriana y mediación etnográfica en el bajo Guadalquivir

Abstract

Desde los años 90 hasta la actualidad, la Unesco ha presentado tres

programas relacionados con el patrimonio etnológico: el sistema de los Tesoros

Humanos Vivos (1993), la Proclamación de las Obras Maestras del Patrimonio Oral e

Inmaterial de la Humanidad (1997) y la Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural

Inmaterial de la Humanidad (2003). Además, se añade la Carta Internacional sobre

Turismo Cultural (1999). A pesar de ello, existen en Andalucía, concretamente en el

término sevillano de Coria del Río, ejemplos sin trayectoria que carecen de un vehículo

eficaz de transmisión de los saberes y conocimientos de las personas. En este artículo se

analiza cómo la ausencia de mecanismos de transmisión cultural, para la puesta en

práctica de las leyes existentes en el ámbito del patrimonio etnológico, afecta

significativamente a la conservación de herencias culturales. Asimismo, este trabajo

pone de manifiesto las influencias de la Antropología sobre el Turismo.

Since the 90's until today, Unesco has introduced three programs related to

the ethnological heritage: the system of Living Human Treasures (1993), the

Proclamation of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity (1997)

and Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2003).The

International Charter on Cultural Tourism (1999) is also added. Nevertheless, there are

in Andalusia, specifically in Coria del Río in Seville province, examples without an

effective vehicle for the transmission of knowledge and skills of people. Furthermore in

this article is discusses how the lack of cultural transmission mechanisms for the implementation of existing laws in the field of ethnological heritage, significantly affect

the conservation of cultural continuity. Also, this work shows the influences of the

Anthropology of Tourism.
