Anthropology has developed since its origins a fertile field of research and analysis on mental processes. Currently, the discipline raises new questions about humans from a psychological and cognitive perspective. If knowledge is the product of a process, cognition is the process itself. This concept of cognition implies that what is interesting is how we perceive any cultural given. The relevance of analyzing mental processes is the awarness that information is always culturally mediated.es
